New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday quashed the Karnataka High Court verdict acquitting All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) general
secretary Sasikala Natarajan, who was engaged in a bitter power battle with interim Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, in the disproportionate assets case. 

The AIADMK faction led by Acting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam erupts in joy over the Supreme Court's decision. "Justice has prevailed. We are happy," former AIADMK MP KC Palaniswamy tells news agency IANS.
